West Marin, California
The West Marin area north of San Francisco is one of the most scenic areas in the world. It includes the Point Reyes National Seashore and the Golden Gate Recreational area as well as many other protected natural and agricultural areas. It is also home to about 400 bird species including egrets and herons. Point Reyes has been my home for six years and is a constant inspiration for photography. |

Great Sand Dunes
The Great Sand Dunes National Park is in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado. The sand dunes are unique in that they are nearly stationary throughout the years. They provide spectacular features in the early morning and late evening. |

Patagonia Glacier
The time spent at Glacier Gray was the highlight of my 2005 Patagonian trip. I am fascinated by the shapes and deeply saturated hues of glacial ice as well as the pent-up power of ice when assembled on the massive scale of glaciers. I was privileged to see and record the beauty of these formations before they leave us. |

Southwest US
I spent most of my childhood in Arizona which may explain my attraction to the shapes and colors of the US southwest. This selection of images includes a variety of locations covering more than 20 years in time. |
